Jiangsu Chengde Steel Tube Share Co., Ltd. (Chengde) was founded in 1988. After 18 years of hard efforts, we have grown into a large-scale private business dedicated to the manufacture of seamless steel tubes, a private business with the most vigor and vitality in China. By 2006, we own total assets of USD150 million. Our company distinguishes ourselves as an outstanding player in the world's seamless steel tube field with our unique production technologies, high product quality and wide range of product lines. Chengde is located in Jiangdu in the east suburb of Yangzhou city, and covers a land area of 1 million square meters. We enjoy highly convenient communications with Beijing-Shanghai expressway, Ninqi railway line converging on the northeast side of the factory area and with the new plant area "Chengde Metallurgical Industrial Park" immediately close to the Yangtze river and Jiangdu port. Chengde boasts three complete production lines for steel tubes, including one 200,000MT production line of steel tubes for boilers, which is the best of its kind inside the country, one 100,000MT production line for oil vent tubes, which is a first-rate production line introduced from abroad and the third of its kind following Bao Steel and Tianjin, and one 200,000MT short-range production line of seamless steel tubes in large calibers, which is the first of its kind inside the country and for which Chengde owns independent intellectual property right and dozens of patent technologies. Chengde adopts international standards or national standards in production. We won the third place for the technical advance in the "new technology of rotary elongation of conical roller". "Chengde" brand seamless steel tubes for high-pressure boilers and oil vent tubes were appraised as products of well-known brand; the tubes for high-pressure boilers (12Cr2MoWVTiB and T91), sleeve tube J55 and oil tube N80 were appraised as new and hi-tech products of Jiangsu Province; the seamless steel tubes of large calibers won the national Golden Bridge Award. "Chengde" was appraised as a famous trademark of Jiangsu Province. With the independent intellectual property rights, we will make continuous efforts in innovation and development and in cooperation with internationally well-known brand names so as to build up an internationally first-rate brand name. By the end of the 11th "five-year plan", we will grow into a large industrial group with annual production of seamless steel tubes between 600,000MT and 800,000MT and production and sales between USD750 and USD1,000 million, distinguishing ourselves as an outstanding private manufacturer of seamless steel pipes in China.
